The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia staff invites community-based nonprofits to join us for a 30-minute open and information discussion about what you are seeing in the community, the issues you face, and anything else that's on your mind. First Tuesdays are an individual, one-on-one meeting with your nonprofit and the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia.

First Tuesdays are not intended to be an opportunity to request funds from the Community Foundation or to discuss past, present, or future funding.  Rather, we want to use these meetings to build relationships, share information, brainstorm ideas, and discover new approaches or new ways of tackling an issue in a neutral, relaxed setting.

Slots are intended for organizations that have not met with Community Foundation staff during the last year.  There are three open slots each Tuesday and held on Zoom.

First Tuesday sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are currently full for 2022.  Please use this form to join the waiting list for any slots that become available.  Jennifer Cochran, Manager of Grants and Scholarships, will contact the waiting list when there are openings.
