The Chapter is holding officer elections this year to fill the following board positions for the January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024 term: President, Vice President and Secretary.                                                                        
     
ONLY MEMBERS CURRENTLY IN GOOD STANDING (INTERNATIONAL AND CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP) ARE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE. You may nominate any member who is currently in good standing with the Chapter, and has been in good standing with International for the last year or longer. You should obtain the permission of your nominee. You may nominate yourself. NOMINATIONS WILL REMAIN OPENING THROUGH 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘, 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏

𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭
A. Shall preside at all meetings of the Chapter and the Board.
B. Shall perform all duties incident or usually pertaining to such position and those duties delegated or assigned
      by the Board.
C. Shall appoint the members, other than the elected chair, of standing and special committees and appoint
     interim committee chairs pursuant to Article VI, Section 3, should chair vacancies occur prior to the election
     meeting.

𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲
A. Shall keep an accurate record of Chapter proceedings, issue notices of meetings, carry on all correspondence
     not incident to the functioning of other committees, cosign with the President all instruments requiring such
     signatures, keep official minutes of all Chapter meetings and Board meetings
B. Shall assist the President in preparing meeting agendas, arrange all meetings of the Board, assist committees
     and perform duties as assigned by the President or the Board.
C. Shall prepare the annual report of chapter activities and forward it in the proper IALEIA format to the secretary
    of the International Association.

 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭
     A. The Vice President shall: be responsible for IALEIA strategic planning,
     B. The Vice President shall succeed to the presidency if the President resigns or is incapacitated, and at the termination of the President‘s term of office if such office should otherwise be unfilled.
     C. The Vice President shall preside at meetings in the absence of the President.    
     D. The Vice President shall perform such additional duties as may be assigned by the President or the    
          Board.
