The Equity Project is a consulting firm that supports organizations with Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion work. They are helping us learn and grow in response to the student walkout in March. They will be conducting an investigation into the walkout, as well partner with us on subsequent work. Tomorrow (Tuesday, June 14th), two of their team members will be visiting LCHS for the day to talk with staff, students, and families. Families with a child currently enrolled at LCHS are welcome and encouraged to come to the school between 2:30 and 4pm to meet with the staff members from The Equity Project and share their perspective on the Student Walkout, as well as you and your child's experience at LCHS. If you would like to participate, please sign up by completing this Google Form and indicating the 30 minute time slot of your preference. All you need to do ahead of time is complete this form. Please note that you will likely be meeting with the consultant in a small group of other parents/caretakers. Also, when you arrive, be sure to sign in at the front office, and a member of the LCHS team will direct you where to go.
