HOW Journal’s Asocopi’s 60th Anniversary - Special Issue

Dear Colombian ELT Community:

The Colombian Association of Teachers of English -Asocopi- will be on its 60th anniversary in 2025. HOW Journal wants to publish a special issue in the second semester of next year to celebrate it. 

The special issue will be about how Colombian English Language Teacher/Teaching (ELT) education has evolved in the last 60 years. The topics may be varied since ELT education in the country has stretched knowledge in multiple themes. 

  1. Launching the call: April 9th, 2024.
  2. Deadline for proposing the topical issue in the digital form: May 3rd, 2024.
  3. Notifying the selection of topical issues: May 20th, 2024.
  4. Submitting the full articles: Up to September 13th, 2024.
  5. Sending suggestions for improvements: Up to December 13th, 2024.
  6. Articles incorporating suggestions: Up to February 28th, 2025.
  7. Edition and style review: Up to April 11th, 2025.
  8. Diagramming and publishing: June 30th, 2025.
