Please complete this form if you want to attend the Tree Planting Workshop at Westmoor Park sponsored by West Hartford Tree Project, West Hartford Leisure Services and North Central Conservation District of CT.  Ginny Patsun from the North Central Conservation District will be our facilitator.  Ginny will discuss the planting of potted and bare root tree seedlings.  She will also cover follow up maintenance and protection of young trees and much more.  Ted will be on hand with a dibble bar (useful tool for seedlings) and can point out bare root seedlings planted two years ago.  We will meet on Saturday, April 1 from 12 noon to 2 p.m.  Meet at Westmoor Park's Outdoor Classroom at the lower end of the parking lot.  We will have a demonstration of potted tree planting first near the Outdoor Classroom and then will demonstrate how to plant a bare root seedling in the nearby forest.   This event is free as are our trees!  Thank you for helping the canopy!
