CSUN Disaster Ready: Protecting Critical Documents & Valuables in Emergencies
After the immediate concern of personal safety and the safety of those you care about, having your financial and medical records along with important contact information is crucial to the disaster recovery process. Participants will identify the documents they need to protect themselves and household members (including children and pets) to include financial, medical, and legal documentation to work with insurance companies, care providers, and government disaster assistance programs. Learn the best practices to document and ensure property has appropriate insurance for relevant hazards.
