The Branch is excited to host Apologetics Night part 3 on Thursday, December 8 at 6:30 p.m. This time, we will be focusing on the topic of Relativism
Relativism is the doctrine that knowledge, truth, and morality exist in relation to culture, society, or historical context, and are not absolute. In the context of our culture today, you may have heard people say "live your truth" or "what's true for you may not be true for me." In John 18:38, Pilate asks Jesus, "What is truth?" Can truth be relative? What does the Bible say about this? How could you respond to a nonbeliever who says "God may be true for you, but not for me"?
The questions you submit below will be completely anonymous and answered by a panel of church elders without judgement. Questions submitted ahead of time will be shared with the panelists so they can thoughtfully and truthfully answer based on study of scripture. If time permits, we will also open up time for questions the night of the event.
