As always, the health, safety and welfare of our students, staff, families and the community are at the forefront of the decisions we make as a school. At this moment in time, exceptional levels of staff absence mean that we have had to put in place an Enforced Partial School Closure. The academy will be closed to Year 8 ONLY from Monday 30th November through to Friday 4th December. Year 8 will return to the Academy on Monday 7th December 2020.

We appreciate that many of our families have parents and carers who are key workers and that we must do everything that we can to ensure that they continue to deliver to support the current crisis.

We can offer in school provision for a limited number of key worker children enabling them to access the academy from 8:25 - 14:30 with IT support so that they can access the online blended learning with peers working from home. Please use this form to indicate sessions where you require childcare in the academy.

The categories for key workers can be found on the Government website. After you have submitted a request we will respond to confirm if we can offer your child a place.
