SSA NSW branch is excited to announce the travel grant for students and early-career statisticians to attend upcoming Australia Statistical Conference (ASC), to be held in Wollongong from 10-15 December, 2023.

The grant will cover conference registration and possibly travel and accomodation costs if budget permits.

Eligibility

To be eligible for access to funding, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria:

The applicant must be a student or early-career member of SSA NSW Branch at the time of application. (Membership is only $20 for students!)
The application must be presenting a talk or a poster at the Australia Statistical Conference 2023.

Please use this form to apply. The deadline of the application is Thursday 11:59 PM August 31, 2023 (Sydney time).

Please note that the successful applicants that are presenting at the conference will need to (1) acknowledge support from SSA NSW in their talk or poster, and (2) provide a short report about your ASC experience after the conference.
