AWARD NOMINATION: Youth Care Worker of the Year
This nomination is for an individual who has demonstrated an outstanding ability to perform his/her duties in a shelter setting, regularly goes one step further in working with youth to help them resolve critical circumstances, as well as cultivating strengths and assets in their lives. From medication distribution to school runs, this individual has demonstrated the ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done within the everyday schedule. The nominee must be a direct care worker who works hard to make a difference in the lives of the youth they serve. There is no task in the shelter that they cannot, or will not do. This individual demonstrates that this work answers to a higher calling and delivers on the Florida Network’s promise to be a safe pathway to the future for each child we serve.
