Dear parents/carers,

I am looking to put together a group of parents and carers of pupils with special educational needs or disabilities. Some parents have already expressed an interest in being a part of this and it is something I have tried to put together for some time.

The purpose of this group is to work with myself to support other parents/carers with similar experiences and use the time as an open forum to discuss and share ideas or advice alongside supporting each other pre and post diagnosis.

The idea is to meet once per half term, virtually to start, with the hope we can have regular drop in sessions in school once it is safe to do so.

This is also an opportunity to share your views of SEND provision at SFDS and work with me in developing ideas to support pupils with SEND.
