NYC Sanghas welcoming refugees
Thank you for your interest in helping to resettle a refugee or refugee family in the NYC area.

We are a group of NYC Buddhists who have come together to sponsor a refugee family's resettlement in New York City. There is currently a backlog of refugees from Afghanistan, Myanmar, and Central America waiting to be resettled - as well as the possibility of large numbers of Ukrainian refugees in the near future - and refugee agencies need the help of volunteer groups.

We will partner with HIAS, a long established refugee resettlement agency. For detailed information about the program, please see their website under "Congregation and Interfaith group volunteer opportunities":
