“Impressions from the Pandemic: Oklahomans Reflect on COVID-19” project will collect, preserve, manage, and interpret documentary sources representing aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic experience in Oklahoma. Through a yearlong oral history project, the Oklahoma Oral History Research Program (OOHRP) in the Oklahoma State University Library will capture impressions, recollections, and analytical reflections of a variety of people impacted by the pandemic through their official employment or their community roles, including a diverse representation of Oklahomans, sampling across racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and occupational categories.
