Be part of the
rewarding Engineering Mentorship program at the ESSC for
Spring 2023!
During this program, you will be paired up with an incoming first year graduate engineering student at SJSU, who seeks your guidance in regards to their academic journey or who is eager to learn about your experience working in the industry.
We take a close look at potential mentees during our selection process to ensure their commitment to the program and their willingness to communicate with you on a regular basis.
Upon successful completion of the program, we can provide you with a range of rewards - from a Letter of Recommendation, a Certificate for your voluntary work, and much more!
Take 5-10 minutes to complete this Google Form - your input matters for matching with your mentee!
We highly encourage each and every one of you to submit your application, since our holistic approach is looking for graduate students who are willing to go the extra-mile and commit to the entire semester.
Program Requirements:
- Graduate Students seeking to be a mentor must be in good academic standing (3.0 GPA or higher).
- Graduate Students must be continuing students with at least one completed semester at SJSU.
In order for us to do so, we might contact you for a quick interview regarding your aspirations on applying to this program.
Please see this link to our website (https://www.sjsu.edu/essc/programs/mentorship/index.php) for more information.
Note: Since this program is limited to a certain amount of participants, we cannot guarantee your participation.
Also, this program is aimed towards all graduate fields of studies related to engineering. If you are not enrolled at the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering, please see your departments website for further details on mentoring in your program.
