User research of a divination application in the form of a board game
As part of my final thesis (UX design) at university, I am conducting research on users who would use a fortune-telling app for entertainment purposes.

Board games that are in the form of an app are becoming more popular because we can socialize with people without physical contact (for example, this is helpful during the COVID-19 pandemic or with friends living in different cities). Moreover, apps do not take up much physical space, and the possibility of meeting new people and the like.

I would be grateful if you could spare a few minutes and help me solve this task. My ideal users are between the ages of 25 and 40, are employed, and have a good, steady income. Furthermore, they have a narrow circle of close friends with whom they like to share interesting things. If you are not in the ideal group, but you want to fill out the survey, I would be grateful if you would do the same because any help is more than welcome!

The survey is completely anonymous, which means that you do not sign it, and the results themselves will be used exclusively to improve my final paper. Thank you in advance for your effort and time! If you have additional questions or suggestions, you can contact me by email: uxstudent860@gmail.com

What is your total monthly income?

How often do you play board games?

Do you also play board games in app form? If the answer is "Yes," give examples of board games (apps) you play.
If your answer was "No" to the previous question, would you try playing board games in the form of an app?
If you played a board game in an app form, rank the following product characteristics from 1 to 5 in terms of their importance (1=lowest, 5=highest). You can use each value only once. If you haven't played board games in the form of an app, what would be important to you if you did?

Required
What are the most common challenges you encounter when using board games that are in the form of an app? Example: the app is not mobile-friendly, you find it difficult to use it (give an example of when you had a hard time using the app), the app contains a lot of ads, etc. If you haven't played social games in the form of an application before, write down what you think would be the biggest problems when using such apps.
*
What do you like most about the board games (apps) you are currently using? If you haven't played social games in the form of an application, write what you would like such an application to have.
*
Would you play a board game that has fortune-telling elements in it?
*
If you answered "Yes" or "Maybe" to the previous question, would you play that game as a board game (a board game where there would also be cards) or exclusively as a card game?
Clear selection
This board game had elements of funny prophecies if you shared them on social networks, and if so, on which social networks?
*
What is the ideal length of time for such a game?
*
How many people would you play such a game with?
*
The game would be inspired by popular SF. Would you choose to have characters from Star wars or Star trek on your tarot cards?
*
If you don't like the motive of either Star Wars or Star Trek, do you have any other suggestions for cards? Keep in mind that it should be inspired by an SF or fantasy world.
If you have an additional suggestion for a board game that would have elements (some of them will be funny) of fortune-telling, feel free to write.
If you want to continue to be a part of this research and creation of this work and help me in further research and testing of the app prototype, leave your email address so I can get back to you!
