HUB Youth Advisory Committee Executive Team Application

Thank you for your interest in HUB's Youth Advisory Committee!

The Youth Advisory Committee is a group of young people between the ages of 14-25 who are passionate in fulfilling HUB Cycling's mission of getting more people to bike more often! More specifically, we recognize that youth voices can often be missed in larger planning and advocacy conversations and we wish to amplify youth voices in order to have youth-specific needs, interests and desired addressed in Metro Vancouver planning practices.

There are a variety of ways that we can fulfill this mission but regardless of what path we take, teamwork will always be the key to making the dream work! With that being said, the Youth Advisory Committee is looking to grow their executive team and are looking for youth ages 14-24 who are passionate about active transport and eager to make a difference in the Metro Vancouver region. Being a member of the executive committee is a volunteer role that will require individuals who can be organized, get creative and dream big. 

We are currently looking specifically for people to fill these roles. You can also take other roles in the committee if you are interested.

Joining the Discord server and attending the public meetings are great ways to stay in the loop on all that the different things the Youth Advisory Committee is up to and the perfect place to catch some great volunteer experiences & engagement opportunities.
