Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), has been entrusted by the Sarawak Government to develop the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) towards transforming the public transport system by minimizing and alleviating the traffic congestions in the Greater Kuching area. At the heart of KUTS is the Automated Rapid Transit (ART) which will be the backbone of the public transport system transformation.

In support of our State’s agenda in becoming a high income and developed state by 2030, Sarawak Metro is committed to develop the skills and the know-how of our local industry and talents through Socio-Economic Enhancement Development (SEED) Programme. This programme aims to enhance local capacity and capability through strategic partnership, promoting the use of local content and transfer of knowledge, collaboration in specific Research, Development & Commercialisation (R&D&C) and facilitating Human Capital Development (HCD) initiatives.

For the purpose above, Sarawak Metro would like to invite your organisation to register your interest to participate in our SEED Programme by completing this e-form for our assessment exercise.
