Hello, and welcome to the LANG Initiative sign-up! The LANG Initiative (Language Accessibility of Northeastern Guidelines) is a coalition of Northeastern University students and faculty with the goal of translating vital university administrative and emergency websites into the major languages spoken on campus. Through language accessibility, we aim to provide all Northeastern students and their families with the resources to make informed decisions concerning on-campus attendance, emergency situations, and student’s mental and physical well-being. Currently we are looking for native Chinese and Spanish speakers, but in the future we plan to expand our teams to include other languages spoken on campus.
All of this information and more will be explained and expanded on during your info session: please sign up for a date and time in this Google Form. During this time we will answer any questions you might have for us.
If you can't make any of the listed dates/times, please select "Other" and we'll send you our schedule of upcoming info sessions. We will be holding info sessions regularly as we continue to recruit more members.
