Summer: Short Scripts: Depth of a Scene.2021

Class Description:
Students will learn the fundamentals of screenwriting, such as character and plot development, and dynamic dialogue. With the goal of creating scenes as a pathway to establishing resonating narratives, we’ll delve into analysis of films and screenplay excerpts and complete the screenwriting process from start to finish.

 

Students should expect to watch one film each week for homework and work on their screenplays during class (please bring your laptops to class).
