応募資格 | Eligibility
満18歳以上で、日本の学校・研究機関に在籍し、勉学や研究に従事するもの。その国籍・人種・宗教を問わない。| The prospective residents must be at least 18 years old and officially enrolled in a university or a research institution in Kyoto. *
学寮のイベントに積極的に参加できること　（例：金曜夜のコモンミール、週末に行われるセミナーや宿泊行事等）。 | The applicants must be able to participate in the official HdB events (e.g., “common meal” dinners on Friday evenings, weekend seminars, and other events). *
この学寮の設立の趣旨と目的に同意し、この法人が定める諸規則に従い学寮の生活に協調できること。 | Residents must agree with the Principles and Purposes of HdB, and cooperate with rules and policies of HdB. *
原則として秋学期にあわせての入寮から、1年以上、できたら2年間在寮できること。入退寮は、原則半年単位で扱う。（早期入寮の場合は要相談） | As a principle rule, you should be able to stay in the dormitory from the fall semester for at least one year, and if possible, for two years. Also dormitory move ins and outs are handled on a semi-annual basis. (Consult if you wish to move in early)

 必要経費の支払い能力を持ち、且つ、支払い保証人[1]・身元引受人[2]が日本国内にいること（入寮までに確認）。 | Prospective residents must have financial means to cover the set costs (details in separate document), and have a guarantor[1] and emergency contact[2] person who resides in Japan. (Guarantor and emergency contact person could be the same person; Confirmation required before moving in)
[1] レジデント本人が寮費等や学寮に損害を与えた際に支払うことができないとき、本人に代わって支払う人。日本国内居住者で独立した生計を営むもの。[2] 日本国内で独立した生計を営み、緊急の場合の連絡と身元の引き受けが可能である人。| 上記が難しい場合は詳細をその他の欄に記載してください。 | If it's difficult for you to arrange, please identify below.
