Community Craft Corner with Marion Nishimura
Join us for our first Community Craft Corner event where we will be making newspaper flower cards taught by Marion Nishimura. We would love for you to craft along with us. The materials needed to make these cards are listed down below. To register for this forum, please provide your information below. If you have never participated in a Virtual Forum before and would like help learning how to participate in this forum, please contact Keiro at programs@keiro.org for help.  

*PLEASE NOTE: AS OF MONDAY, JULY 13TH, the first 20 guests have already been reached, so we are no longer mailing out materials. However, we still want you to join us! Please register and gather the materials listed below to craft along with us! Thank you!

Flower Card Materials
White card stock folded 4 ¼”  X  5 ½”
Newspaper (preferably Rafu Shimpo)
Tray of watercolor paint (can also use acrylic or poster paint)
Paintbrush (small or medium)
Blue tissue paper (new or used, larger than the size of the card)
Liquid white glue (Elmer’s Glue)
Small container with lid (container to hold water and glue in the lid)
Any color card stock to cut out flower templates
Scissors
Water
Buttons (optional)
Blow dryer (to help dry your watercolored newspaper)
Pencil or pen

When: Tuesday, July 21st 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Where: Zoom meeting (please note you will need access to a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone to participate. Zoom meeting ID will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of the forum's start time)
