1) The OMSA-OMA Leadership Summit (May 15th, 2021 - 9AM to 4PM) is a day of speakers and workshops where students will hear about leadership in medicine. This conference will help you learn more about your own leadership style and to network with your future colleagues. Investing in your leadership potential early in your medical career is one of the best decisions you can make.

The theme of this year’s leadership summit will be "Leadership in a Crisis", featuring physician leader Dr. Eileen de Villa from Toronto Public Health as our keynote speaker. The Summit includes discussions and workshops, as well as breakout sessions that will serve as avenues for students to discuss their priorities and feedback with OMSA Executive Board members. This will also serve as an opportunity for delegates to socialize and network with their colleagues.

2) The OMSA Annual General Meeting (May 16th, 2021 - 9AM to 4PM) is a forum for all medical students to participate in electing the 2021-22 Executive Council and to learn about OMSA's work this year. There will also be opportunities throughout the event to provide input into prioritizing and focusing our advocacy work in the upcoming year.  

Both events will be held VIRTUALLY this year.
