Hi everyone! We're excited to welcome you to The Mentorship Project, a national organization on a mission to close the education gap in America by providing college admissions mentoring, and resources such as drop-in office hours, essay revisions, panels, workshops, social nights, affinity groups, and much more. We currently serve a network of 1000+ mentors/mentees, and we would be delighted to have you join us.
We will be matching on a rolling basis. Please pay attention to the following deadlines:
Cohort 1
Application Open: February 1, 2022
Application Closes: March 31, 2022
Matches Released: April 30, 2022
Cohort 2
Application Open: May 1, 2022
Application Closes: June 20, 2022
Matches Released: July 15, 2022
Please note, we require that to sign up as a mentee, you must identify with at least one of the following identities/backgrounds:
- First generation student (i.e., at least one of your parents did not attend college or university)
- Low income student (i.e., students whose parents jointly earn less than $65,000 annually for a family of four)
- Identify as Asian, Pacific Islander, Black, Latino/a/e, and/or Indigenous American
Additionally, mentees must plan to attend a college/university based in the United States.
