Let's start planning for next year! HOPE counts on parent volunteers to plan and carry out activities throughout the year. We are looking for parents/guardians that are willing to help with a specific activity and be the Committee Chair. This is not something that is asked of you to do alone, you will have the help from the SoJo Board as well as the Executive HOPE board.

By clicking you are not agreeing to be the Committee Chair just indicating that you are interested and would like to discuss further before committing.

President - Are you a delegator? Are you organized? HOPE is looking for someone who can delegate tasks and support the Committee Chairs.

Vice President1 - Looking for a candidate that will support the President (along with the other Vice) and learn the ropes of HOPE to become president the next year.

Secretary - Are your organized and will you support the President and Vice. Will attend the HOPE meetings and take notes.

The Carnival consists of multiple sub-committees. A little planning starts in May and the Carnival happens in September. You would have the whole Summer to take your time on your sub-committee. Sub-Committees consist of Games, Non-Game Activity, Silent Auction, Vendors and Food.

Communications Coordinator - Are you great with a computer? Are you a blogger? If so, help us manage our social media and website.

THIS HAS BEEN FILLED School Uniforms - Need Flexibility? This is for you. Throughout the year sort the donated used uniforms and three times during the year help set up and sell used uniforms. The sales will happen in July/August before school is back, at Fall conferences and at the beginning of 2024.

THIS HAS BEEN FILLED Donation Dress Down - Perfect for someone that has one morning a month to give. Responsibilities: Pass money envelopes out before Dress Down Day, collect the envelopes the morning of dress down, count monies with a HOPE board member. You are usually done no later than 9:30.

Candy Grams (Halloween & Valentines) - Perfect for the Creative Soul. Responsibilities: With the Board direction help plan and price Candy Grams. Help create and deliver fliers. With the help of volunteers put them together and deliver to Teachers.

Boosterthon( FunRun) - Are you a planner? Starts in January, plan the Boosterthon/FunRun that happens towards the end of the school year. y.

Sponsors & Donations - Help find sponsors/donations for the Fall Carnival, Teacher Appreciation Week and Boosterthon.
