CALLING ALL GOODIES AND BADDIES.....AGAIN!!! The eternal struggle of good vs evil returns to Monster Rancher 2! Raise a best-natured or worst-natured monster and submit them onto either the Hero Team or the Heel Team. Will the Heroes triumph over the Heels in Hard Mode?

The rules are as follows:

- In order to submit your monster as a Hero it must be good or best natured and one of the following sub-breeds:
     - Centaur, Beaclon, Henger, Golem, Tiger, Hare, Baku, Gali, Phoenix, Mocchi, Zuum, Arrowhead, Plant, Worm

- In order to submit your monster as a Heel it must be bad or worst natured and one of the following sub-breeds:
     - Pixie, Dragon, Wracky, Durahan, Hopper, Kato, Metalner, Suezo, Joker, Monol, Ape, Naga, Mock, Jell

- monsters with a 6 guts rate or less and Cocooned monsters are banned. That means no pure Metalner, Love Seeker, or Chinois. With the current version of Hard Mode that list also includes pure Wracky, Metal Glay, Baby Doll, and Satan Clause. This is subject to change pending any updates to Hard Mode.

- monsters may not be edited in any way using cheat codes. This means no altering stats, adding/removing techs, reskinning, etc. If you are caught breaking this rule you will be disqualified from participating in this tournament.

- stat cap of 3666

- tournament will be run on the latest version of Hard Mode. Please check the Hard Mode Changelist here: https://pastebin.com/eF3Cweh5
   - if you do not own Hard Mode please ask for a copy in the MR2 Discord channel.

- no items are off limits (drugs, bananas, etc)

- players must submit their monsters by the submission date or will be subject to disqualification

- tournament will be a team round robin. Winners will be determined by best of three matches. Teammates will not be fighting each other. The team with the most wins at the end wins overall.
   - if there is a tie between teams a tiebreaker match between the best Hero and the best Heel will take place, with the overall winning team being determined by a best of seven finale.
   - if a tiebreaker match is required and there is a tie between monsters on the same team, a one-match sudden death fight will be used to determine who will represent their team. However, if the ranchers of said monsters are in attendance at the time and can agree on which monster should fight in the tiebreaker, the sudden death match will not be necessary.

- viewers will be betting on matches with imaginary points on Twitch. Not so much a rule as a heads up.

- the following awards will given out afterwards:
     - Best Overall (awarded to the monster with the most wins), Best In Class (awarded to the monster with the most wins on the opposite team as Best Overall), "Not So Super" Hero (Hero with least wins), Lamest Villian (Heel with least wins), The Fool (monster that committed Foolery the most), Best In Show (awarded to the fan favourite monster, viewers’ choice), RNG GOD (monster with the luckiest moment, viewers’ choice), Biggest Jobber (monster who had the most potential and still lost, viewers’ choice), and High Roller (viewer with the most points after betting on matches)

- all matches are com vs com

- entry limit of 24 monsters, 12 monsters per team

- **IMPORTANT** Depending on the number of players wanting to participate, there may be room for multiple entries. In order to fill every spot, you can submit TWO MONSTERS (one to each team). Choose your PRIMARY monster to be your first entrant. So long as there are spots left on that team your monster will be eligible to fight and can not be removed from the roster. Below that you can submit a SECONDARY monster. It will fill an empty spot on the opposite team (if there are any). If your PRIMARY monster is unable to fight due to its team being at full capacity, then your SECONDARY monster will become your PRIMARY monster. PRIMARY monsters have priority, so any SECONDARY monsters are subject to be removed from the roster. Entries are first come first served, so the sooner you fill out the form the more likely you'll have both monsters in the tournament.

Submit your monster by sending your save file to Ngenuity#7054 on Discord. PLEASE have your monster at the top of the freezer in your save. File must be in .mcr format (or at least compatible with ePSXe)
