ESSER Funds Feedback Form
Columbus City Schools has outlined its spending priorities for the federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds the district expects to receive. CCS will invest in strategies supporting four priorities with its ESSER funds: Learning Recovery and Supports for Schools, Infrastructure Improvements, Technology, and Development and Professional Learning.

Each of the three types of ESSER funds includes a spending deadline. Columbus City Schools expects to receive:

ESSER I - $30.9 million (must be spent by September 2022)
ESSER II - $130.7 million (must be spent by September 2023)
ESSER III - Anticipated $287.6 million (must be spent by September 2024, and 20% of the funds must be spent on learning recovery strategies)
