Instrument Repair Workshop with Duncan Howie (Saturday 9 September) - 9.30am to 12.00pm
TASME is pleased to offer an instrument repair workshop with Duncan Howie.

With the value and quality of Brass and Woodwind instruments on the rise it has never been more important to protect and extend the life of a Music Teacher’s instrumental inventory.

Through this workshop we will review products and processes for the different instruments that will not only help avoid expensive repairs but also aid in the playability of instruments for younger players. While some repairs are un-avoidable due to accidents, age, and general use - many can be pro-actively prevented and managed through a little knowledge and time.

Please feel free to bring along an instrument or two for a free assessment.

The workshop cost is:

• $25 for members
• $80 for non-members
• Free for tertiary students, which includes one year’s student membership to ASME.

For more information, contact TASME (tasmemeetings@gmail.com).

Please register by 5pm, Wednesday 6 September.
