Yoga in the Church–– proudly sponsored by St. John's Episcopal Church and Sikh Dharma Colorado–– is suited to all ages and ability levels. These classes are fun, joyful, and reveren.t, as well as unique opportunities to liberate suppressed energies like fear, anger, and deep love. Through the Presence of Spirit and methodology of Kundalini Yoga, attendees should expect to de-stress and grow stronger in their connection to the Divine.
Anyone interested in deepening their healing journey through the mind, body, and the path of the heart will find themselves right at home at Yoga in the Church.
Students will need to bring their own yoga mat, blanket, and cushion for meditation. All water bottles must have closed lids and all minds must have open ones.Classes will feature prayer, meditation, kriya (exercise sets), mantra (chanting), pranayama (breathing), as well as singing and dancing. Classes will also include a long relaxation with sound healing to restore the soul and bring ease to the body and mind.
