What it's about: This course in Verbal De-Escalation trains adults to respond to maladaptive behaviors with a focus on verbal de-escalation techniques and safe, non-restrictive interventions in order to de-escalate situations prior to crisis level behaviors. During the training, we will give people hands-on skills to use in various settings with others who are displaying dysregulated behaviors.
