Outdoor School Instructor Application
Thank you for your interest in The Outdoor School!  Here are some things to remember when applying:

The Instructor position at The Outdoor School is a seasonal position - the Fall Season typically runs from mid-August to mid-November, the Spring Season runs mid-February through the end of May.  

This is a demanding job.  It requires a great deal of training, long hours, patience, flexibility, and a great attitude throughout!  ALL instructors will learn to belay, facilitate our challenge courses, teach night activities (astronomy, night sensory and games/campfire), and other duties as assigned.

If you do not finish the application in one sitting you may pick up where you left off by going to the same link using the same device you were using (in most cases).  

Once your application is completed it will be reviewed, and eligible candidates will receive an email inviting them to sign up for an interview time through Calendly.  If eligible you should receive an invite within 3 business days.

This position requires several physically demanding tasks including (but not limited to) hiking, climbing, belaying challenge course and rock wall elements, singing, gardening, and heavy lifting.  Lifeguard training is provided (optional) and requires additional aquatic skills.  Do you have any condition that may effect your ability to be a productive instructor?
