Tutor/Mentor in College of Engineering & Applied Sciences

Tutors work an average of 10 hours per week and earn a starting wage of $18.00 per hr mostly in person with some online hours available. Applicants must be an undergraduate student in the College of Engineering and Applied Science majoring in Engineering or Computer Science.

A tutor/mentor must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, obtained a B or higher in any Engineering or Computer Science course they want to tutor, and demonstrate content area knowledge and study skills, and desire to help peers improve study skills and find success in the course. 

Tutor/mentors also serve as upper class mentors for our Pre-Engineering Program. 

Become a Tutor

·       Must be enrolled for credit at UWM
·       3.0 GPA or better
·       B or better in the course you wish to tutor
·       Undergraduate Student in the College of Engineering and Applied Science
