Heart in Hand LA is a non-profit founded by UCLA students in response to COVID-19 that strives to create safer living conditions for the vulnerable populations of Los Angeles. Heart in Hand at UCLA is our UCLA chapter.

We aim to provide the homeless, the undocumented, and ethnic minorities with homemade masks, hygiene packages, clean clothes, and food, in addition to our goal of connecting them with health and social work-related resources. We also work to raise awareness about the social injustices and advocate for the importance of community service to eliminate such discriminations.

There are several upcoming opportunities for you to get involved and make our community a better place to live for everyone.

If interested in becoming an intern, which one looks interesting to you.  As a publicity intern your responsibilities will include making flyers and contributing to our HHLA's social media.  As a research intern, your responsibilities will include preparing and coordinating educational workshops and panels. As a finance/fundraising intern, your responsibilities will include organizing fundraisers and contacting funding partners and organizations. As an intern with minorities affairs, your responsibilities will include assisting with video editing, organizing a podcast, and creating a resource spreadsheet. *
