Position Information - Please Read This!
Secretary. This position focuses on three tasks: Keeping an eye on the AURA email; Emailing Roombookings for on-campus events and for face-to-face groups in need of a place to play; Taking minutes during AURA Committee Meetings and General Meetings. - This position is mandatory in every society committee and is essential to AURA.

First Year Representative. This position is very light in responsibilities. Your primary duty is getting acquainted with the running of AURA and to receive committee experience. Your secondary role is to make sure the rest of the committee keeps 1st Years in mind when planning events and making decisions, as well as to serve as a liaison between 1st Year members and the committee. - This position is best taken by someone who is in the first year of their undergraduate degree.

Vice President. This position is focused on picking up slack and helping out around the committee. The Vice President supports the President and helps act as a friendly face for the society. The Vice President is also expected to help run the AURA Library and ensure that society members are able to access the AURA Library.

Live Action Roleplaying Coordinator (LARPing Coordinator). This position focuses on preparing and running LARPing events. No one currently in the committee has any experience with LARPing, but if you are interested in spearheading this part of AURA, you will receive support form the rest of the committee. - This position is best taken by someone who has previous experience in LARPing.

Associate Member Representative. This position is focused on making sure that the committee take into account the desires and needs of non-student members of the society. - This position is best taken by someone who is not currently a student at the University of Aberdeen.
