Santana Row/Westfield SJ Shopping Trip

Join Global Engagement (GE) staff and fellow international students and scholars for a day of shopping in San Jose on Saturday, January 28th. Please meet at Quarry Plaza by 8:45 to be checked in and to meet others in the group.

The trip fee is $20 to help pay for the cost of transportation. Students, this will be charged to your student billing account. Scholars, please bring your $20 in cash. Please also bring your own money for lunch and shopping.

We will depart Quarry Plaza at 9:00 and we expect to reach Santana Row at about 10:00 to enjoy approximately five hours in San Jose. You may choose to have lunch, go shopping at Santana Row or at nearby Westfield Mall, or hop into a cab or Uber to another part of San Jose.

Santana Row will also be hosting a Lunar New Year celebration from 11:00 - 13:00, with cultural performances, surprise red envelopes, and more.

Whatever you decide to do, please return to the bus drop-off site by 14:50. We will depart from the drop-off site at 15:00 sharp, returning with drop-off points at the Santa Cruz Metro Center and campus between 16:30 - 17:00.

Please Note:
* International students and scholars will be prioritized. Others may be included if seats are available.

* Please look for our email verifying your spot or indicating you have been added to a waitlist.

* Because spaces on the bus are limited, if you sign up for the trip and your spot is confirmed but you don't show for the trip, you will be charged a $40 "No Show" fee. If your plans change, please let us know by Wednesday, January 25 at noon to avoid this fee and so we can offer your seat to someone on the waitlist.
