*Scholarship Application* - School of Holistic Perinatal Wisdom

We believe diversity in training leads to wider availability of the perinatal services we feel every family has a right to. We provide these diversity and need-based scholarships in order to make this work available in more communities!

To qualify you MUST:
➳ Have financial need - we use 300% of the federal poverty level, dependent on family size, as a guideline. If you exceed 300% of the federal level we're very unlikely to offer you a scholarship.

➳ Currently work in the birth and/or health/wellness space or be moving toward a practice and career in this area.

➳ Be ready and willing to invest 50% tuition - as scholarships are partial

➳ Be fully invested in, and present for the program - keep in mind that if we choose you over someone else, we expect you to be motivated and engaged with us throughout the program, and to complete the program.

Not required but another consideration:

➳ Be a person from a diverse group - whether that be with respect to race, disability, sexual orientation or gender, ethnicity, single parent, child with special needs, person who has overcome great adversity, etc, etc (we are open to the possibilities, if you're not sure please just apply and tell us about yourself!)

The number of partial scholarships we offer for each cohort is based on the number of paying students per cohort. Please know that whatever our decision - we value your contribution to this work and your circumstances. We are simply unable to offer scholarships to all who request them.

We who run this school are self-employed and have families to support, as well as instructors and supporters who need to be compensated, who are also supporting their families. We wish we could provide more scholarships, and we will continue to seek out sponsorship to support more scholarships in the future!
