6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Eastern (5 pm Central) on Zoom

(Zoom link will be sent to registrants)

Are you applying to Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) programs in mathematics? Are you not sure where to start or questioning how to write a personal statement when you have faced obstacles in math or "don't feel qualified"? This is a workshop for you! It will include:

  • A presentation on the application process, experiences, inspiration, and related opportunities
  • A writing workshop to help you generate ideas and material to write a compelling personal statement
  • A Q&A with students who have REU experience

Registrants will gain access to slides and an online community for continued support.

We are aimed at undergrad students at US-based universities, including international students. Please be aware that many REU programs have eligibility restrictions.

OURFA²M² partners with the Mathematical Association of America and is funded by National Science Foundation grant DUE-2230388.
