So glad to have you be a part of celebrating the Good News with children and their families this summer! Volunteers like you make a meaningful impact on this generation.

This years VBS will be in the evenings of June 17 - 20 and hosted by Rocky Mount United Methodist and in partnership with Rocky Mount Christian.

📅Make plans to attend the All-Hands Volunteer Overview on Wed May 8 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM. You'll hear about this years theme, meet VBS and activity leaders, how all of the pieces work together, get team assignments, and other need-to-know information to make this a FANTASTIC time for kids and their families.

All adult volunteers go under a background check.

Crowd Control - Help keep an eye on kids during Open, Closing, and filling in as needed.

Group Leader - Primary guide for a group of up to 10 kids; stays with the same group all week; encourages spiritual growth, relationships, discussion, and other Small Group activities

Host Team - Greets and helps with check-in/registration process and explains the security procedures

Registration Team - Organizes registration; collects information on each family; inputs data if needed

Tech Crew - Works together to provide audio and video support.

Music & Moves - Leads children and Group Leaders in a fun and meaningful time of worship through music

Games - Fun way to instill the day's lesson through movement, team work, and fun!

Crafts - If love glue and paint, this is your spot!

Snack Prep - Coordinate, prepare, and serve a nutritional boost to kids and volunteers.

Decorating - The week before VBS, you'll help make the space POP!

Nursery Worker - Care for the babes of our volunteers. Willing to rock them to sleep or help with lessons. Able to carry up to 30 lbs.
