Sign Language Club - Kindergarten

Join us for Sign Language Club on Tuesdays from 3:35-4:35pm! Mr.Paul Magnuson (pmagnuson@sd113a.org) and Mrs. Julie Wojtowicz (jwojtowicz@sd113a.org), sign language interpreters from Oakwood’s Deaf & Hard of Hearing program, will teach beginning sign language using personal instruction, videos, activities and games. Students will learn to fingerspell the alphabets, numbers 1-20, and a variety of signs related to colors, foods, sports, school signs, and family members. Your child will be provided with 12 meeting dates for the Fall session.  Students will be enrolled on a first come, first served basis. Only the first 15 students signed up will be enrolled.  Mr. Magnuson or Mrs. Wojtowicz will send an email confirmation of your student's enrollment in Sign Language Club, and the fee will be placed on your student's Skyward account. Fee payment is required before the first day of the club or your student's place will be forfeited.  Please note that transportation is not provided and you must pick up your child promptly at 4:45pm.
