Do not trim the video. Try to include footage both before and after the incident, since this is useful for editing purposes, even if it seems boring and unnecessary. A 10+ minute clip is fine. Any clip shorter than 30 seconds is likely to be rejected.

Do not edit the video. We are a team of professional video editors, so please let us handle the video editing. We will mute what needs to be muted, blur what needs to be blurred, make things slower or faster, combine different camera angles, add titles and music, etc. If you do any of these things, you make our job more difficult.

We cannot accept submissions as email attachments.

If we find your clip has been sent to or featured on any other channels or you give any other channels permission to use it, we will reject your submission. Our goal is to feature 100% original content not found anywhere else.

At this time, YouTube is demonetizing all videos of motorcycle collisions/accidents (where the motorcycle was involved in the collision/accident). For this reason, we cannot accept these clips, even if the accident was mild and the rider was fine.

Everyone has seen videos of people urinating on or near a Tesla. We know they're funny, but we aren't showing these anymore. We can't stop you from sending them in, but they won't make it into a video, so you need not waste your time.

We do not accept videos showing pedestrians or animals being struck by vehicles, or videos of incidents that resulted in a death. This is partly because YouTube won't allow us to show these videos, but mostly because we don't want to profit off of them.
