The People's Market Vendor Application 2024
Thank you for your interest in The People's Market 2024 season!  Please note that we are a "homegrown, handmade" market.  We welcome items that are made or grown locally--no multi-level marketing please.

The market is an outdoor market held at 1417 Glenwood Avenue from April to October, 5:30-8:00 pm.  

•The weekly vendor fee is $25. We encourage all vendors to book and pay beforehand. 
•Be advised there is a pop up fee of $35.
•Season Market pass is $500. Which includes same spot setup every week. As well as promotional marketing on our flyers and social media outlets.
•We ask that vendors commit to a 2 market minimum a month.
•All vendors are required to stay the whole market time and break down after 8pm.
•Discounted market fee for seniors
•Young entrepreneurs are encouraged however they will have to run 75% of their booth in order to qualify for the young entrepreneur discount.
•Food vendors please advise if you are serve safe certified. However if not please still apply.
•Upon arrival please check in with market assist Syreeta Skinner 
Once your application is approved you can sign up and pay using our online sign-up form (PayPal, credit cards and debit cards accepted).  You will receive a weekly email every Monday asking if you are planning to vend that week; approved vendors should also join the private Vendors' Facebook Group for updates.

**You must call market manager Shanté Woody at 336-987-0301 once you have submitted your application.  Your application is not complete until you have talked with Shanté.**

People's Market Rules:
  1.  Vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, tents, displays, setup and break down.
  2.  Items for sale are handmade and locally grown.  If you want to add a new category of merchandise you must discuss it first with the Market Manager
  3.  Prices must be displayed clearly and visibly
  4.  Vendors must have signage or other promotional material that includes contact information
  5. If you find that you can not make it to a market you have signed up for you must inform the Market Manager immediately.  Repeated no-shows risk having their market privileges revoked.
  6. Market fees are non-refundable. However if the market is cancelled because of bad weather or other uncontrollable circumstances vending fee will be transferable.
  7. The market DOES NOT SUPPLY CHANGE.
  8. Our green for green program is donation based. Donations are accepted.
  9. Please be aware you will be photographed, or in LIVE videos and other promotional marketing materials. Upon signing this form you agree to these terms unless other wise mentioned to opt. out with the market team.
  10. We ask that all vendors in collaboration with our efforts please promote and invite your social media followers to come out and support.
