Fire Alchemy Volunteer Form
Thank you so much for offering your time and energy to volunteer at Fire Alchemy 2024. Please read the details below to find out the various areas and ways you can get involved. Times listed are not finalized, all details will be confirmed by the team lead(s) once selected.  

As a volunteer, you are INTEGRAL to the smooth easeful running of the event.  Two of the tenets of Fire Alchemy are ONENESS & BELONGING - which are built with community participation. We invite you to gift your time to be involved more intimately in the production of the event, which enables a smoother event experience and an integrated involvement in the production elements for you.  When everyone participates in the co-creation of this event, we all develop deeper belonging together, and experience oneness on new levels. 

All volunteers must purchase a ticket in advance.  There are no work trade discounts, as we already offer this experience at the lowest cost we are able to!  Thanks for understanding.

Logistics & Transportation
Pre & Post Event
Help us transport items between Chicago and Stronghold, set-up Wednesday afternoon and/or Thursday morning, and breakdown Monday following the closing circle.

Registration & Information Team
Thur 6-7pm /Fri-Sun Ongoing
Welcome attendees and support the registration team check in guest, direct people to where they'll be staying and answer questions. Throughout the weekend Information team members will be the points of contact for attendees: disseminating information about the weekend, directing people to meals and workshops, answering attendee questions and similar tasks. We intend to shorten these shifts and/or make them more of a remote position to facilitate communication via group chats and/or Facebook page.

Workshops Team 
Fri-Sun 10am-1pm & 2-5:30pm
Work with the workshop leaders to ensure everyone enjoys the core and community workshops. Support will include assisting with set-up and breakdown, rally attendees, and provide additional assistance as needed.

Ritual & Fire Keeper Team
Thur-Sun 7:30-11:30pm; Mon 9:30-11:00am
The Ritual and Fire Keeper team helps co-create rituals with Gaea & the Fire Keepers each night before the fire jams and help create a safe environment for the Fire Circle each evening including, including Fuel Depot & Dedicated Safety. Shift periods during the jam will be 60 minutes in total, so you will have an opportunity to flow nights you are volunteering. The nightly rituals will include the Opening Circle, Fire Training, Witnessing Activation, Prayerformance and Closing Circle.

Media & Content 
Thur-Mon Ongoing
Help us capture the moments and memories of Fire Alchemy 2023. We are looking for people to assist with social media, photography, and videography. 
  • Photographer and videographers should have their own equipment and be experienced in uploading footage. 
  • Social media activators must know how to use instagram & facebook posts, reels, videos, stories, tagging, cross tagging and sharing. 

If you are interested in supporting or performing in the Prayerformance on Sunday, Aug 4 look out for additional information.
