If you are a district representative when does your term expire? AND for which district?
Normally we ask ALL committee members to join a subcommittee and then most communication and volunteers for events within the sub committee is pulled from that small group of people.
 This year instead if you are really interested in that subcommittee and want to help plan events in it, then PLEASE SIGN UP!!!!
If you sign up for no subcommittee then, chair and vice chairs will be sending out emails asking for volunteers for different events the subcommittees plan.  Below you will find questions to sign up. Each question has a DESCRIPTION of the subcommittee.

Student Branch Subcommittee
This subcommittee focuses on hosting two main events for the student branch members. Student branch members are college students who are majoring in ag ed or planning to major in ag ed. We reach out to the 4 major universities in IL, and community colleges. We also expanded to out of state colleges  that have students who want to come back to teach in IL. We work with FCAE to assist with the fall bus trip and then plan the spring event. We also plan a workshop at IAVAT Conference.
1 to 5 Year Teacher Recruitment
This year the main focus in continuing to develop the mentorship program. We will also plan a workshop at IAVAT conference.

6 to 15 Year Teacher Recruitment
As the name states this subcommittee will focus on the 6 to 15 year teachers. While we haven't quite found our niche yet there are activities planned for this group throughout the year. This subcommittee also plans XLR8 at IAVAT Conference
