Museum Workers Relief Fund Application
Thank you for participating in the Museum Workers Relief Fund. If you are a museum worker impacted by COVID-19, apply here for a chance to receive $500 in aid through our lottery system. We will confirm your submission via email.

Deadline for next lottery drawing is Friday, April 8, 2022.

***Only one submission is eligible for consideration. Duplicate entries will be deleted. Former recipients are not eligible for another gift.***

Who is eligible? Any museum worker in the U.S. who has been laid off, furloughed, or otherwise severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds are intended for museum workers in the most precarious financial situations, even pre-crisis, including but not limited to the following:
- Front-line staff, janitorial, visitor services, security, retail, or cafe workers
- Part-time, temporary, and contract staff; freelancers
- Those living paycheck-to-paycheck
- Those who do not have generational wealth to lean on
- Interns (paid and unpaid)
- Those working fewer hours
- Caregivers of dependents

How the lottery system works:
- Applications will remain open and we will announce drawing dates when benchmark fundraising goals are met.
- Twenty applicants will be selected at random
- Selected names will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of the drawing and funds will be transferred as soon as possible.

Please note that non-selected names will go back into the pool of applications and are eligible in the following lottery.

Your responses on optional questions will be anonymized and used for project documentation only. Your responses to these survey questions will help us document and share the experiences of museum workers impacted by COVID-19 and to support more museum workers like you. Applicant selection will be randomized.
