Join us for the Youth Local Project 2023 at our church! LYF is hosting another local service project this year that spans two days, allowing for students, who are rising 7th to 12th graders, to make a positive impact in our community. You can choose to attend either Session 1 (July 26 to 27) or Session 2 (August 2 to 3), or join us for both sessions.
To cover the costs associated with the project, there is a registration fee of $25 per session. If you decide to participate in both sessions, the total cost will be $50. Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable.
During the Local Projects, we have planned various activities to benefit the community. These include yard work at a local community garden, sorting and distributing food, engaging in evangelism and praying for the community, and exploring service opportunities within your own neighborhood.
Drop-off will begin at 8 am on Wednesday (7/26 or 8/2), and pick-up will take place at 5 pm on Thursday (7/27 or 8/3). We will provide meals throughout the two days, including Wednesday lunch and dinner, as well as Thursday breakfast and lunch.
If you do not regularly attend our church and have been invited by someone, please let us know who extended the invitation. We are excited to welcome new students and make this a memorable experience for everyone involved.
