Friends of Panthertown is hosting our second annual "Great Campsite Cleanup" to celebrate Earth Day. We will be meeting at the Cold Mountain Gap trailhead at 9am. As we hike, we will stop at campsites along the way to pick up any trash and restore fire rings and seating. There will be an email sent out to all participants prior to the date with more information, so be sure to RSVP! This is a great way to celebrate Earth Day- enjoy some great views and the beauty of public lands while also giving back to such a well loved place.

I understand that there is risk involved in recreating in an outdoor space. Friends of Panthertown recommends that all participants come prepared for spending time on your public lands. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring water, snacks, and a picnic lunch. Bring any layers you deem necessary as well as any bug repellant, sunscreen, and medications you may need. *
