B Inspired Community and Business Awards - Community: Unsung Heroes - Group
Coronavirus has affected everyone, but instead of focusing on the negatives we have chosen to find the positives in the community - and there are many!

With regular local awards sadly unable to continue this year we decided it would be nice to utilise this local platform and design our own awards to recognise the good in our community, highlighting those who have shone during this time.
With the kind sponsorship from our friends at Beacon Wealth Group, the awards were formed.

The awards will focus on the local community of St Neots and surrounding area, looking at businesses who adapted well, who supported the community, and those individuals who went above and beyond.

Entry Details:

The awards recognise the entire year and are not purely Covid related, albeit it is likely to be a prominent feature.

Applications are now open and close 5th February 2021.

Our March issue will display those shortlisted and as a community magazine, we will ask the public to choose the winners via a voting system - this will be released on our Facebook page. Voting commences 1st - 28th March.

Winners will be announced via a virtual awards night in April.
We know those who do good often don’t like the recognition, but sometimes the community just want to say thank you. Therefore, so nobody feels uncomfortable, we are not asking anyone who is nominated to attend anything publicly. Thank you to everyone who has helped our community through this year.

Unsung Heroes - Group

Similar to the single unsung hero award, the purpose of this category is to recognise a group within our community who we feel has shone amongst us. This could be a single heroic act or a continued offer of kindness or support.

Entry criteria:
  - Provide the name of the group, or individuals who have worked together, that you wish to nominate and reason for nomination.

  - Provide a summary and evidence (if possible) of why this group stood out for you, what they have done and what the outcome was/is.
