Emerging Museum Professional Fellowship 2024-25

Aiming to encourage greater diversity in the museum field, the Emerging Museum Professional Fellowship is an opportunity for students enrolled in city, community or state colleges in Chicago from backgrounds that have traditionally been underrepresented in the museum field. The Fellow is introduced to all facets of museum work, including curation, collections, marketing, development and executive leadership, with a focus on education. They work closely with directors and contribute to meaningful projects that advance the museum.

The fellowship begins the week of June 10, 2024, and concludes February 28, 2025. The position is a 20-hour-a-week commitment, and the Fellow will earn $25/hour.
