Municipal Resilience Building: Help the Town prioritize municipal actions that increase resilience to the impacts of climate change, such as stronger storms, flooding and erosion, and extreme temperatures.

Climate Resilient Long Range Plan Update: Learn about Longmeadow’s Long Range Plan (LRP) climate resilient update and share your ideas. Our LRP will shape how we grow over the next 10 to 20 years, and set priorities for climate resilience, social equity, development and land use, municipal services, public health, education, housing, and other quality of life issues.

Nature Based Solutions: Fight climate change by supporting and enhancing healthy natural systems and processes. Discuss composting, natural lawns, sustainable agriculture, trees, wetlands, green infrastructure, and more.

Home Based Technological Solutions: Learn about alternative energy options, energy efficiency, reducing waste, and alternative transportation to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and will help combat the climate change crisis.

Climate Change Education/Youth Action: Education and youth action may be the most equitable of all the climate change solutions. Get ready to talk about it!

Creative Climate Action & Advocacy: Using the arts to communicate about climate change can bring new people into the conversation. How can you use your talents to encourage people to act on climate change?
