1. What were the 3 biggest JUMPS in your life and career (unexpected sources of momentum)? And how can you CREATE more of them? (Eg. For me, they've always come from meeting interesting people. So, I have a 1 line business plan: ‘Meet fun and interesting people.’) *
2. Think of your big mission or an impossible goal. If you had to do it SLOWLY, how would you do it? *
3. How would you put yourself OUT OF BUSINESS? (Once you know the answer to this question, you can ensure it doesn't happen). *
4. What areas of your business do you NOT UNDERSTAND as well as you should? (Make the invisible visible and then you can handle it). *
5. What business are you REALLY in? (What PROBLEM do your clients have? What's the SOLUTION you offer? What's the TRANSFORMATION they’ll undergo?) *
6. If you made more PROFIT in the year ahead but the same or even less revenue than this year, what would you do? (As an old phrase goes: “revenue is vanity, profit is sanity, cash flow is king...” *
7. How well do you KNOW your clients? How could you get to know them even better? (Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care). *
8. How well do your clients know YOU? How could you help them know you even better? (Vulnerability is a superpower). *
9. Who are the TOP 20% of your clients? (They fascinate you and energize you.) Who are the BOTTOM 20% of your clients? (They drain you and bore you!) Now, imagine in a year's time that 100% of your clients are like your current top 20%... *
10. If you didn’t know what everyone else was doing (or what you're ‘SUPPOSED to do’) what would you do differently? (If you want to be successful, watch what everyone else is doing and do the opposite...) *
11. If you could pick one area of your business that you HATE and stop doing it  FOR EVER (or have someone do it for you) what would it be? (Warren Buffett once said, “The difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say no to almost everything.”) *
