ESSER III Funds received by Fillmore Central Public Schools
ESSER III Funds that will be received by Fillmore Central Public School:  $798,875

Description:  The American Rescue Plan Act, passed on March 11, 2021 provided $122.7 billion in supplemental ESSER funding known as the ESSER III fund.  The Local Educational Agencies are required to allocate 20% of the above funds to the academic loss created by the time out of school due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

In order to receive federal funds Fillmore Central Public School is required to seek valuable input from our stakeholders to advise the use of the above funds to best benefit Fillmore Central School and our students.  The goal of these funds is to help support students without having recurring costs to the district after the ESSER III funds are gone.

We published and updated how these funds are currently being used and some plans for the future on the school website on May 27, 2022 (https://www.fillmorecentral.org/o/fillmore-cps/page/essers-use-of-funds).  We are still researching, planning, and seeking public input on other ways that we might use these one time funds.
